I help moderate the Northern Railways Forum. It was set up as a place for mature discussion of the railways and continues to be a place where mature discussion occurs on many of the subjects that affect railways in the north and across the UK.

The Student Room is the biggest student forum in the world and attracts a lot of traffic. Have a look for bluenoxid, if you want a chat.

Death by Health and Safety sums up a lot of the problems that HSE has caused on the railways. Its takes a serious but also tongue in cheek approach to how Health and Safety has affected the railways. Their protecting your drive video is a must watch for anyone in the business of Health and Safety.

Rate Your Students is a parody of the Rate My Professor website. It has an American bias but gives an honest viewpoint from the lecturer.

The Union Society should be your first port of call for a student at Newcastle University. Many students don't realise how much of this is brought to them by just fellow students putting in their own time. Have a look and take part if you are at Newcastle University.
