Newcastle is a compact city, with plenty of things to do for everyone. Newcastle is a great city for
students. With an amazing
variety of shops and entertainment on your doorstep along with an
amazing
nightlife, you will not be short of things to do whilst studying here. You can view it using my city tour. Universities Newcastle has two universities plus a city college. Newcastle University is the university that this website is focused on. Northumbria University is located a short distance away from the Newcastle University. Newcastle College is located towards the city centre View Larger Map Shopping As a city, Newcastle has virtually a branch of every chain in either the city centre or the Metrocentre. The only shop, we don't manage to have is GAP. If you are looking for local supermarkets, please click here Banks There are a number of banks and building societies in Newcastle. There is a branch of every major provider of student bank accounts in the UK located within 10 minutes walk of the campus.
